KOGI LGA FOMWAN DISTRIBUTE FOOD ITEMS AS THEY END RAMADAN TAFSIR 2019

  •    As part of the obligation of Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigerian to sensitize the Muslim ummah especially the women folks to the right way of teaching of Islam. Kogi local government chapter of the association engaged the Muslims with weekly tafsir during the Ramadan period. 
  •   Speaking with the head of the organisation Hajiya Zainab Ibrahim, she said the association is not just involved in organasing Islamic lectures but also they educate the public about sensitive issues concerning their health and other related issues, recently they engaged in paying school fees for students and provide food items for widows that are not financially sound.    

















  •      We seriously appreciate the role of our Royal father Alhaji Abdulrazaq Gambo Isakoto for his immense support and to some industrious sons and daughters of Igu kingdom may Allah bless them in abundance. Brief history of Koton Karfe Emirate . By His Royal Majesty Alh.Abdulrazaq Isa-koto. Kogi ( Koton-Karfe ) The forgotten cradle of Egbira civilization. It is bassically a fishing and farming community, which also had a rich history of iron smelting. But a title holder in the Igwu kingdom said “nobody wants to be a blacksmith these days,” so the huge deposits of iron ore beneath the foothills remain largely untapped. Sadly, their iron smelting heritage for which they became popular has almost gone into extinction. No single blacksmith was found in Koton Karfe, when our reporter sought to see one. UNKNOWN GUNMEN ATTACK KOTON KARFE AND IT ENVIRONS

A Person has been reportedly killed by unknown gunmen while Four others  injured at New layout, along GSSS koton Karfe in Kogi Local Government Area of Kogi State. An investigation by Egbura Tv revealed that the hoodlums attacked the koton karfe town and Onzo village at about 9:30pm of Sunday night in an attempt to kidnap the chief of Onzo Village and several well meaningful personalities in koton karfe area. An eye witness, who pleaded anonymous said the gunmen who stormed the village in large numbers were unable to kidnap the chief instead, they whisked away with two of his wives and letf four others injured . The young man that was shot death was a bike man who accidentally ran into the scene of the incident. Police have pick up the investigation.
